[cPanel Forums] I ask because it may be that PostgreSQL is installed but not fully configured yet, and so when the count is calculated there is an erroneous value returned for the number PostgreSQL databases (e.g., 1 instead of 0).

[UK Web Hosting | Linux Windows Server Tutorials | PHP MySQL Service] Plesk Shared Hosting | UK Web Hosting | Linux Windows Server ...: this is because if external websites which receive many visitors link to images which are contained within your web space, and they are images which are large in file size, then you could end up having this external website eating up all the bandwidth that you have assigned to your shared Plesk website hosting account - even if you don’t have high traffic websites linking to the images or files that you have stored within your shared hosting account, your bandwidth could still be eaten up by smaller websites which are hotlinking to files within your web space since the files which are being linked to could easily be large in size meaning that they are eating up a large chunk each time they are used - in the case of smaller files, the amount of bandwidth being eaten up each time is considerably less. If you require for external websites to link to files and images which might be contained within your web space, then you should consider a dedicated hosting solution such as a VPS or dedicated server since the bandwidth which is supplied with these types of products is much more than that which is supplied with standard shared hosting products.

[DreamHost Status » Email Issue] DreamHost Status » Blog Archive » Panel Temporarily Unavailable: I confess, after many, many, many years of using Dreamhost (in one account or another) I am seriously considering switching because of the support # issue…and, admittedly, the sheer number of server blips they encounter. [Feed-Squirrel.com] Coding Horror: Deadlocked!: Jeff's point in one of his followup posts is the critical one: the DBMS should, at user's option, be able to handle deadlock automatically, without user intervention. We are willing to accept some epsilon-level error on one side (dirty read, error in time synchronization, whatever) in exchange for not having our query barf on us for reasons created by the specific circumstances, i.e., someone else is competing with us for scarce resources.

[drupal.org - News and announcements] How we will make Drupal 7 simple to use | drupal.org: I'm really Happy that again a new experience project starts and I really wish you good luck, but I will continue to summarize those link and nodes and post around that are really usefully and simple written and even understandable for no native English, because instead of getting simple to find documentation on Drupal.org it's becoming more difficult. I know that a lot of Doc-sprints are going on, and it's admirable with how much dedication many of you continue to try to organize better all the sections, but again excuse my criticism and maybe influenced opinion for past personal discussions with some of the members here, I see a greater confusion and no clear content management directives and plan.
