[CaughtOffside.com] Liverpool Must Do All They Can to Sign Arjen Robben ...: Apparently the club does not have a great deal of cash to play with, but given the poor start to the Premier League campaign the American owners may have to bring in a big name to appease the fans and to get them back on track and Mr. ...

[BBC SPORT | Andrew Benson] BBC - BBC Sport: Andrew Benson: The problem with winner takes all: why change the scoring system after the most exciting and nail biting end to a season ever in the history of F1 i admit i'm a hamilton fan always have been (how can u blame me hes awesome) the only reason why they changed the rules is so that Lewis doesn't win the world championship again, the mclarens are off form at the moment and therefore making these changes makes sure that the mclarens can't win the world championship because relieability won't be a factor. They say it'll encourge the overtaking mentality but Lewis has always had that mentality so once again the rule just happen to work against him the FIA must think the fans are stupid if they honestly think they can't see whats going on.

[Thought Leader] Thought Leader » Trevor Ncube » Simba Makoni: A glimpse of hope: Tswangirai was Zanu PF whilst the Ndebele people were being killed and all the chefs staffing their pockets. He never uttered a word.He was in ZCTU on a Zanu PF ticket. The man has been stupid enough to receive cheques from the white farmers in front of televesion cameras,he has travelled the breath of the world calling for sanctions against his own people.I have never seen someone so much consumed by power(except Mugabe),his only solution to the problem is that he becomes the president of the country.Come on guys we can do better that this opportunist who is riding on peoples desperation he has no clue, no direction, no depth in him.Yes he was beaten up (maybe he deserved it for all the suffering that he has brought upon the people of zimbabwe through his uneducated policies) but what about those who have lost family members in his name.left us no jump from the firing pan into the fire.

[BBC NEWS | Peston's Picks] BBC - Peston's Picks: Taxes to fall and then rise: hey Robert Peston if you are reading this please can you do an analysis of what would have happened to the British economy over the last 11 years if Labour had kept to Ken Clarke's spending, borrowing and tax plans for the entire duration. Would be be in surplus by now?

[Celtic Quick News] Celtic 2-0 Aberdeen, SPL, 18 April 2009 - Celtic Quick News: This was after it was made very clear that the Premiership did not want us, but we were on the verge of being invited to join the Championship - the Championship clubs were going to have a vote on the proposal of us, and rangers, joining them, which was expected to be in our favour overwhelmingly - but a media leak saw the FA vetoeing the idea, and so the clubs changed their minds and the vote never took place.

[Andrew Neil's blog] BBC - Andrew Neil's blog: A cheaper and more more honest system?: I think everyone should keep a copy of the list, printed by the daily telegraph, showing the names of all those MPs who have made unreasonable or questionable expenses claims, so that when there is an election (either general or local), the electorate can actively avoid voting for the shamed candidate, no matter what party they represent. All political parties will then get the message that the electorate will no longer be content with excuses and bluster while MPs hope that all will be forgotten before we have a chance to vote.

[Blog Maverick] Competing with the NFL « blog maverick: Take 8 average guys and their friends…armchair QBS….fantasy draft junkies…etc….give the $100K each to go out and build a team of 21 players for 10 weeks…..8 teams total …they coach them..they are the GMS…everything…and then get corporate sponsors…..you\’ve got the Pepsi team in Pepsi uniforms…..Viagara team in purple…whatever…play in the Coliseum, the Astrodome…any stadiums where they\’ve played in the past that are still viable….and give all access in the locker room and on the field in HD….the American Idol and Survivor meets Joe Football…now I\’m excited!! [Guy Fawkes' blog] Cameron : My Government Will Be “Open, Online All the Time” - Guy ...: However, what I really hope will emerge from everything we have endured will be (1) a government that will govern in the interest of the nation and not, as has been so blatant from the word go, for the benefit of the party in power (like the dumbing down of the education system so that Labour can pronounce themselves as wonderful) , and the glorification of the Prime Minister (Iraq comes to mind) and (2) I would also expect the public will now be treated with some respect rather than utter contempt. We have been routinely lied to and been subjected to endless re-announcements of existing promises, few of which are ever fulfilled anyway.

[Rugby World Cup] BBC SPORT | Rugby World Cup Blog: Note the singing of the national "anthem"(Ireland´s call?) by some players and not others(both north and south)and compare with that of Argentina which was sung from the heart, and also the "national" flag!.The body language was not right from the start. As for the game, no confidence no pssion,no pride,no apparent game plan when things were going wrong,no leadership, some players didn´t seem to know what to do,especially when attacking.I don´t completely blame EOS, these players have competed at the highest level and should have enough experience to turn a game around especially against "inferior" opposition.Their confidence is shot(why? we don´t know) and nobody plays well without it.Can it be remedied?

[Guy Fawkes' blog] The Last Honourable Labour Prime Minister - Guy Fawkes' blog: when he thought that he might possibly have a chance to be Labour Leader but then again Sir Alec Douglas-Home did the same by renouncing his title of Earl Home to run against Quentin Hogg previously Viscount Hailsham for leadership of the Conservative Party around the same time of course the difference between Benn and the latter was that they assumed life peerages as Bron Home and Baron Hailsham whereas at least Benn has maintained his principles even to the extent of refusing a peerage when he retired as MP- so hats off to him – he still talks a complete load of bollocks though!!!!

[politicalbetting.com] politicalbetting.com » Blog Archive » Could an Irish “YES” revive ...: The 1997 experience was that new MPs are wary of revolting early on until they've found their feet and discovered if they're on track to be Cabinet Ministers, but there wasn't any particular issue outside the government programme that excited the party at that .

[PESGaming] PESGaming.com » PES screenshot mania: In PES 2010 we implemented the stategy side of things which include the ’sliders’ and the ”˜card system’ and i think this is a nice first step in making bigger strides in the management area so far, for the first time, the management mode has more depth that you can change the type of style you want your team to play as and also your player individual style aswell. Of course this is just a small step to what we want to achieve but there have been some collisions with regards to what we was going to do as to make this more more mananger or more towards action for example, however with both the sliders and the card system in place, its a perfect mix of the two and this is just the start of whats to come for this mode as we have big plans in the future.
